Coach Christine DiMarco Reaches 100th Career Win

Christine DiMarco began coaching high school girls volleyball at MSD in 2014, serving as an assistant coach to Vicki Kitsembel and leading the junior varsity team for four years. In 2018, she stepped into the role of head coach and has since guided the Orioles to remarkable success.

"Coach DiMarco's 100th win is a testament to her passion, dedication, and leadership," said MSD Interim Athletic Director Elena Ciccarelli. "She has not only upheld but elevated the culture of excellence within our girls' volleyball program. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with her and look forward to the continued success she will bring to our volleyball program."

In her debut season, DiMarco led the team to titles in the Spike Out Tournament and the MIAC Championship, earning both Team of the Year and Coach of the Year honors with an impressive 36-5 record. Over the past six seasons, her teams have secured two National Championships (2018 and 2021), and she has been named Coach of the Year three times (2018, 2019, and 2021).

With her 100th win over Open Bible Christian Academy on Sept. 24 in Benson Gym, her career record now stands at 100-41-7, making her the second girls' volleyball coach in MSD history to reach this milestone.
